REVIEW: Hades Nachos Return to the Magic Kingdom For Halloween 2020

Hades Nachos first appeared at the 2018 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Like many Halloween treats, they have returned to Magic Kingdom for the 2020 Halloween season.

Hades Nachos are black bean nacho chips with “fiery” buffalo chicken, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, salsa, and jalapeño.

If you didn’t know better, you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the black bean chips and regular tortilla chips, besides the color. There’s a sizable helping of fiery buffalo chicken served on top of the chips and then the entire entree is smothered in nacho cheese. For the price, this is a gigantic dish that’s easily shareable between two people. There’s ample spice to the buffalo chicken, giving a great kick with each bite. The nacho cheese on top seems like a lot at first but it really helps bring around the spice of the chicken with the crispness of the chips. It’s a solid, unique, spooky option.
