The Desserts & Champagne booth at the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is known for its liquid nitro cake pops. For Halloween, the booth is offering a special spooky version of the treat, so we got our own to taste test.
This chocolate cake pop is covered in orange and black Halloween-themed sprinkles.
The cake pop is extremely rich and sweet. It’s big enough to share with a friend.
Unfortunately, it melts quickly, and we were a little disappointed it wasn’t made fresh. It had already stopped “smoking” by the time it was handed over.
It’s mostly the same as one of the booth’s standard cake pops, but the sprinkles add a nice crunch.
Will you be visiting EPCOT this weekend and trying a Halloween cake pop? Let us know in the comments.
Totally agree. Had the Twix covered nitro cake pop last Sunday. Melted extremely quick. Less of a “cake pop” and more of a spongy “cake on a stick.” Worth a try but probably won’t get again.
