PHOTOS: Entrance Facade Work Continues on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Coaster at EPCOT

Just a day after we reported that façade work had begun on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, things have moved along quite a bit.

We now have a better look at the aluminum studs for a wall that’s being installed in front of the former Universe of Energy building.

Most of the work is still hidden by a green tarp that hangs from the roof. From guests’ view, it’s also obscured by the Xandarian Nova Corps spaceship being constructed in front of the future attraction.

Meanwhile, the mounts for solar panels are all in place along the roof, a throwback to the pavilion’s original theme.

Hopefully, this means that the panels themselves should be installed soon.

Just like the Guardians themselves, it takes a team to create this new experience, and it’s clear that folks are hard at work to bring the new attraction to life.

But for those who don’t like to week, we got two special looks at what awaits inside this week. On Monday, Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro posted a picture of the roller coaster track, reaching nearly 12 stories in height, while we also got test footage of the ride system.
