There’s plenty of construction happening at the entrance to Magic Kingdom, with the resort launch dock progressing, the Grand Floridian Resort walkway near opening, and more. Let’s take a closer look at what’s been going on this week.

A panel of canopy has been added to the far awning at the dock.

Several trenches have been dug for laying down wires and pipes.

Boards of wood cover the first portion of the walkway to keep the sidewalk protected while construction continues.

Same more planting remains to be done near the water.

Meanwhile, in the monorail station, scrim now surrounds the outside of the resort monorail walkway.

Trees have been planted alongside the bus loop, which is also under construction. This is a good sign since we haven’t seen progress on the bus loop for several weeks.
