After the same was done to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Plexiglass dividers have been added to some Frozen Ever After boats at EPCOT.
The dividers are placed between each row.
There are small openings where the dividers are attached to the handrails, so guests can still hold them if need be (but remember to wash your hands after).
We were still seated with two rows between us and another party. If the Plexiglass is found effective though, more guests could be seated in one boat, increasing the capacity of the ride.
As you can see, given the nature of the ride, the Plexiglass was covered in droplets of water.
The Plexiglass is in a testing phase right now, only installed on a few vehicles. We will continue to check on Frozen Ever After to see when Plexiglass dividers are installed on all the vehicles. With the socially-distanced line for Frozen Ever After regularly stretching past the China Pavilion, upping capacity may alleviate some of the extensive lines and wait times.

this is getting Stupid, Who the hell is making the decisions at disney, non of this is required, if the masks work so well why do we need plexy, and why are they still spacing people out if masks and pleaxy are so good.
Because COVID-19 isn’t something to screw around with. None of these measures are 100% effective but layering these measures on top of one another will continue to improve the safety and security of their guests. Especially when it’s evident that despite the best efforts of others around them, folks still outright refuse to take the pandemic seriously and their stupidity shouldn’t have anywhere near as much baring on the safety and wellbeing of those around them, but it does. So suck it up, buttercup. Either accept it or don’t go at all. Either way, people are safer. Especially with the second option, if that’s your view on all this.

My daughter had a brilliant idea, RAINX wiper fluid! Apply to the plexiglass so the water spray doesn’t impede visibility! How do we pass this on?
We rode this today. The dividers absolutely ruin the ride experience. Our view was terrible. We we’re in rows 3 & 4. If you try to lean your head back a bit to see better, the divider is right on the back of your head. Climbing in and out of the ride was hard because of the way the dividers are installed. The plexiglass stands out several inches from the metal framework, all the way around, and is surprisingly thin and flimsy. This leaves nothing for leverage as we get in and out of the boats. This makes the ride hard to access for anyone who has even mild muscle weakness or mobility issues. I could not be more disappointed. We did not enjoy the ride at all.
