Belle and her friends have whipped up a new Christmas tree—we mean treat. Belle’s Enchanted Christmas Tree is one of many new holiday treats now available at Walt Disney World.
This stack of macarons is being sold at Gaston’s Tavern.
Belle’s Enchanted Christmas Tree – $5.49
Almond Macarons layered with Cranberry-Orange Filling
The almond-flavored macarons create the green of the tree, while the red frosting and yellow chocolate pieces act as garland and ornaments.
The macarons are perfection. They are firm on the outside, but melt in your mouth.
The frosting was very sweet, but stained pretty much everything. We wish there had been less of it.
The filling was amazing. It was tart with a great citrus zing.
The chocolate candy piece on top gave a nice twist to the flavor. Overall, this was a sophisticated surprise of a dessert for a theme park. It was delicious, beautiful, and perfectly executed. We would definitely get this again and would not want to share it.
Between Belle’s Enchanted Christmas Tree and the Yuletide Wishes yule log cake, we’re almost covered when it comes to Christmas decoration staples. Have you tried Belle’s Christmas Tree? Let us know what you thought in the comments.
