Several new holiday themed treats are now available at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort! From Santa Mickey cupcakes and Oreo Bonbons to 3-D Christmas Tree cookie towers, these bakery departments have you covered!
Santa Mickey Cupcake – $5.99
This Santa Mickey Cupcake looks adorable, but that’s where praise ends for this treat.
We were surprised this came from the same kitchen that brought us the gingerbread carousel. This cupcake was not very good. It had a decent base, but offered very little flavor, and was a bit dry as well.
The overabundant icing was heavy and overly sweet, and it stained everything!
The presentation was really the only thing this cupcake had going for it. In our opinion, if you’re in the mood for something sweet, spend the extra 50 cents and grab yourself some Oreo Bon Bons.
Oreo Bon Bons – $6.49
The Oreo Bon-Bons are an Oreo cookie base topped with Oreo mousse and covered in a shell. We thought these were delicious!
The shell was firm, but broke up perfectly to give you a decadent crumble onto the mousse inside.
The Oreo cookie on the bottom was softened by the mousse, so that taking a bite was easy, but it was still firm enough to hold the dessert together.
The red and green shells were for decoration only, there wasn’t a flavor difference between the colors. This is a really delicious dessert, and we would definitely get this again… and might not share them!
Holiday Mickey Rice Crispy – $4.79
Also available to pick up are these classic Mickey-shaped Rice Crispies with festive green and white frosting and red and green sprinkles.
Chocolate Marshmallow Snowmen – $7.49
Each package of Chocolate Marshmallow Snowmen contains a set of three pops. The treats are 3 large marshmallows dipped in chocolate or candy coating and decorated; one as a snowman, the other two are drizzled with icing and sprinkles.
Cookie Tree – $12.00
The cookie tree is an intricately decorated tower of star-shaped cookies with green icing, multi-colored sprinkles and accents of white to imitate a fewsh coating of snow.
The tree is topped off with another star cookie covered with yellow frosting and sugar crystals.
