The Friendship Boats that sail across World Showcase Lagoon resumed operation with social distancing measures immediately after EPCOT reopened in July. The boats now have an extra precaution of Plexiglass dividers between each row, which allows for a higher capacity.

The Plexiglass dividers are similar to those we’ve seen on some attractions, such as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

With Plexiglass between each row, the Friendship Boats can safely board more guests for travel.

Aisle seating is not allowed, to keep guests across from each other socially distanced.

Friendship Boats also recently resumed service to and from Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT resort hotels.
