With the reopening of Hong Kong Disneyland, guests can catch a glimpse at the construction progress of Arendelle: World of Frozen. Thanks to Disney Magical Kingdom Blog, we now have photos of the Frozen-themed land’s development.
Arendelle: World of Frozen will be set in a time of happily-ever-after, peace, and prosperity with Elsa and Anna creating a Summer Snow Day for the merriment of the kingdom.
This structure will become a lighthouse that guests can enjoy beside a waterway.
A snow-covered mountain will be featured in Arendelle, housing the new Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs rollercoaster. Tracks for the attraction have been installed and covered in green tarp.
Scaffolding is abundant as construction continues. The buildings in the area will become homes, shops, and, of course, the Arendelle Castle once completed.
Originally planned to open in 2021, the debut of the expansion may be delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Hong Kong Disneyland’s closures.
With the completion of the Castle of Magical Dreams, Arendelle: World of Frozen is just one of the many projects still set for Hong Kong Disneyland.
