PHOTOS: Dam Building Process Begins in Moat As Stage Work Continues at Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom

We reported yesterday that the stage in front of Cinderella Castle was undergoing some kind of refurbishment. The entire front of the stage was blocked by a row of shrubbery, and the stage itself is blocked by a scrim. We stopped back by this morning to see if any progress has been made.

The front of the stage looks more or less the same, with most of the railings covered in scrims.

Scrims continue around the perimeter of the stage along the railings.

Whatever may be covered on the castle stage doesn’t look much different from yesterday.

Some pieces of the railing are still left uncovered as well.

Most notably, dams have started to go up on the west side of the Cinderella Castle moat. If you remember from last year, dams were constructed in the Cinderella Castle moat during the large repainting project.

Could these dams mean more construction is coming to Cinderella Castle? Stay tuned here at WDWNT for more updates on this project.

  1. I hope they don’t do too much work! I’m going in April for my six month anniversary with my husband for his first time, so hopefully we can see her in all her glory
