Mardi Gras 2021 is gearing up at Universal Orlando Resort, with merchandise, a Tribute Store, and of course specialty food. After you pick up your Mardi Gras doughnut from Voodoo Doughnuts, visit the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen also in Universal CityWalk for this new Moon Pie Milkshake.

Moon Pie Milkshake – $15

White chocolate ice cream, graham crackers, marshmallow cream, mirror glazed moon pie, mardi gras chocolate candies

The description says graham crackers, but we didn’t find any. They might be blended into the ice cream along with the marshmallow, because we could see little specks in the ice cream that aren’t sprinkles or crunchy.

The white chocolate ice cream isn’t too sweet. It’s very runny, which makes it easier to sip.

This is the same moon pie you can find in the Tribute Store though this one was a little softer so we liked it better. But it’s amazing in both locations. They’re shortbread cookies with marshmallow buttercream in the center and it’s the best part of the shake.

The sanding sugar on the rim of the souvenir cup comes off easily and is way easier to rinse off than the hard chocolate-coated ones.
