Disney+ Price Increase Takes Effect March 26th

After being announced at Investor Day last December, it’s been revealed exactly when the subscription rate increase for Disney+ will take effect.

The front page of the streaming service’s website prior to login reveals that the rate will increase to $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year beginning Friday, March 26th. This will effect all monthly and annual subscribers beginning with their first billing cycle on or after that date. Prior to that, the $6.99/month and $69.99/year rates are still in effect.

The increase will also affect the Disney bundle, which includes Hulu and ESPN+, raising the price to $13.99/month for ad-supported Hulu and $19.99/month for Hulu with no ads.

So if you’re looking to keep up with The Falcon and the Winter Solider or any of the other popular offerings on Disney+, it’ll cost you just a little more.

  1. That’s bull…I paid $79.99 back in November 2020. People should go back and look if they got charged the higher rate on their renewal. Because I sure did.
