Parades have officially returned to Orlando as Universal’s Superstar Parade makes its way through the streets of Universal Studios Florida once again. Like the “Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King” over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the parade is a smaller version of its pre-pandemic performance. Let’s take a look!
Here it comes!
First up, the lovable Minions cruise down the street.
Right now, the parade is continuous and does not make its typical two stops. As such, the parade dancers, like these Minions, are currently not performing full dance numbers. However, there are still a few of them grooving along the route.
Gru and the girls cruise on by, accompanied by more Minions.
Vector, the bumbling villain from the first “Despicable Me” film, follows behind them.
Next up, Patrick Star arrives all the way from Bikini Bottom.
The fish dancers make way for Spongebob and his pineapple home.
We love to see the return of entertainment across the parks.
Squidward is always a crowd favorite.
Max and Duke from “The Secret Life of Pets” are the next to arrive.
The rest of the Pets gang can be found on a float resembling the apartment building and neighborhood from the animated film series.
Younger fans may recognize Dora the Explorer and her cousin, Diego.
Enthusiastic monkeys swing from the trees atop the float.
