  1. Yes please take them away, we don’t need people in America to have jobs. We only support overseas countries, said the Disney Co. who make billions of $$$$

  2. This is so very sad! Shopping for Disney items will never be the same! No more taking kids to pick out Halloween costumes or a special stuffed animal after a new Disney movie comes out. Not everyone wants to shop for everything online!! There is something very special about going to a Disney store and getting to see and touch items before purchasing. I feel Disney has lost touch with they every day Person and they are only about the bottom line!

  3. Hoping and praying to God that this was the final round of stores to close. Let the last 25 remain for years to come PLEASE. 🙏🏻

  4. It’s too bad that they don’t allow some of the promotions that The Disney Store runs at the World of Disney in Disney Springs. For example, I always loved getting the lithographs, but online you’d have to pay for shipping – never mind trusting the post office, which is not good in my area.

With almost everything being on Disney+ now though, I’d guess movie purchases are even more down.

Regardless – I’ll miss just walking into The Disney Store. Although, it hasn’t really been the same since they renovated them from their 90’s counterparts. Those were the days! If only we could time travel! Kids today wouldn’t understand the joy of walking into an early 90’s Disney Store. Today, everything’s so two dimensional and plain (lots of white and grays with colored lighting).

  5. There will be none left in New England after 15 Sep. Some people prefer to get things in a store versus waiting for something online. They should at least keep one store open in this region.

  6. I grew up very close to Disney World and went to the parks all the time. When I had to move it killed me that I could just go whenever I wanted. Being able to go to the Disney Store was that little piece of home to me. It had some of the Disney magic in it that I needed when I was feeling homesick.
I’m happy to say that I have moved back to Florida but I’m not as close to Orlando as I was before. But I do wish they would keep some of the Disney magic open for people and kids to experience that don’t always get to do it in the parks. Let’s face it…they are making it impossible for families to do that. Walt would be disappointed!!

  7. I prefer to shop at a store especially for apparel. Disney will end up losing my business. I can go to the store for last minute gifts browse and buy right away and nit have to spend for shipping.

  8. Too much focus on the bottom line and not on how stores can create a halo effect for other parts of your business, including your online shop. A decision I think long-term Disney will regret.

  9. I live in kissimmee right next to Disney world and I used to be a pass holder but how Dirty Disney did the pass holders I’m done with the parks and stores for the Foreseeable future, I will keep my Disney plus for now but dam Disney knock it off you are alienating the very Americans who carried your ass through 9/11 when NO Foreigners were coming here!! Thanks alot!!!
