Hello everybody, and welcome to a gorgeous, sunny day at EPCOT! Walt Disney originally set out to make EPCOT a city of tomorrow, “A city that caters to the people as a service function. a planned, controlled community, a showcase for American industry and research, schools, cultural and educational opportunities.” EPCOT may be a bit different than what Walt originally set out to create, but join us today as we travel around this wonderful park and discover just what lies in store. And with that, let’s jump right in!
Pluto struck some stylish poses for us this morning!
We took a ride on one of EPCOT’s most iconic attractions, Spaceship Earth! While cruising through history, we noticed that a few animatronics seemed to be missing! One famous animatronic was nowhere to be found inside the cave scene, and another in Rome. We also found that six other animatronics throughout the ride were not properly functioning.
We’re ready to shop til’ we drop at the upcoming Creations Shop, which is officially set to open on September 15, 2021! Right alongside it, we’re ready to try all of the unique drinks at the Re-imagined Club Cool. We personally cannot wait to see guests’ reactions to the infamous Beverly once again!
Today we saw the fences that were previously lined up against the back of the recently re-themed Family Play Zone come down. This gives us an even better look at the exterior of the upcoming offerings!
It’s almost time to officially say goodbye to Mouse Gear, and we’ve already started to see props disappear from inside of the store! It seems that only a few wall props now remain. The shelves may be stocked with merchandise, but are starting to look a little bare in the decor department.
We found Snow White making a wish over in Germany!
We went on a search for our pal Remy today. Can you spot the little chef in these photos?
Speaking of Remy, we saw lots of guests anxiously waiting to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure! The attraction may not be officially open yet, but you can take a ride with us right now!
We finished our “practically perfect in every way” day at EPCOT by stopping by to see Mary Poppins!
Time to take a ride around on the EPCOT Monorail! We got a great view of all of the ongoing construction at the park from high in the sky.
We disembarked and took a stroll over to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort to look at the new 50th Anniversary Banners strung throughout the entrance!
We also took a peek at the ongoing work on the exterior of the building while we were there.
