Florida Judge Voids CDC Mask Mandate for Transportation

U.S. district Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle in Tampa, Florida has ordered that the transportation mask mandate from the CDC is now void.

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) recently extended their transportation mask mandate through May 3, 2022. The mandate means masks are required on public transportation such as planes, trains, and buses. Walt Disney World guests have been required to wear masks on buses and Monorails even as mask requirements were lifted elsewhere on property.

The order from Judge Mizelle is available to read here. Neither Disney nor the U.S. government have yet to respond to the order.
