A new rug has been rolled out to welcome guests outside the main entrance of the Disneyland Hotel.
The new rug is black and navy with teal, yellow, white, and copper accents and borders. The rug draws guests toward the entrance of the grand lobby with a narrowing blue pyramid, resembling Sorcerer Mickey’s hat in Fantasia, as you move closer to the doors. At its peak, a magical starburst opens up with a cluster of smaller multi-colored stars exuding outward. The new mat also features a classic Disneyland Hotel logo in white with a yellow outline.
The new rug welcoming guests to the main lobby of the Disneyland Hotel is the latest in a series of updates to the hotel grounds. With construction of the upcoming Disney Vacation Club tower underway, the original fixtures of the Disneyland Hotel have been receiving quite a bit of attention lately. Existing buildings received a facelift earlier this fall after being repainted blue and white. Classic Disneyland signage was also updated.
