The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic Augmented Reality
With the announcement of the details of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, guests can now bring the land’s model to life at the Epic Universe Preview Center at Universal CityWalk Orlando. While the model has been available for viewing for some time, guests were not able to use AR with the Epic Universe Preview Center app until today.
Now, guests can bring the area to life to gather knowledge about what to expect when the land opens as part of Epic Universe next year.
Guests can now see concept art from Le Cirque Arcanus, a new show that will incorporate live performers, puppetry, and special effects. The concept art for the show depicts a wizard flying on a broomstick over two dancers who pose on stage.
Near Le Cirque Arcanus is Café L’air de la Sirène, a quick-service restaurant that allows guests to dine on French-inspired cuisine at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This location offers indoor and outdoor seating.
Around the corner, guests will find Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique. This location will sell wands. AR allows guests to view concept art depicting the inside of the store.
Finally, guests can get their first look inside the newest attraction coming to the land, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry. AR gives guests a peek inside the building so they can see the queue and architecture that will lead to the new thrill ride.
Details for all Epic Universe lands have now been revealed, and guests can use augmented reality to explore each land at the Epic Universe Preview Center. The other lands include Celestial Park, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Super Nintendo World, and Dark Universe.
