The construction walls around On Location have been updated since they first went up. They now feature the Universal Orlando Resort globe logo and the resort’s skyline.

Over the construction walls, we can see that some of the blue exterior paneling has been torn away from the store’s façade. Worn yellow paneling has been exposed underneath. Speakers and light fixtures remain on the wall.

A strip of paneling was torn away from around a corner and between lights. Universal did not announce the nature of the store’s construction work or whether it would reopen as On Location. On Location signage does remain up on the building, but the store was removed from the Universal Orlando Resort website and app.

On Location sold hats, sunglasses, and sun care products, and was a My Universal Photo pick-up location. With the store closed, a temporary photo location is at the exit gift shop It’s A Wrap! There are also photo pick-up locations at Defoto’s Expedition Photography in Islands of Adventure, plus Waturi Marketplace and Krakatoa Katy’s in Volcano Bay.
