Rafalski is the President of Disneyland Paris, and she explained in her post that the two songwriters were provided an exclusive first-look at the World of Frozen that is currently under construction. In the pictures, the couple is seen wearing safety gear and posing in front of Arendelle Castle.

Animated characters Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf the snowman, and Sven the reindeer are set against a magical blue background in the enchanting World of Frozen.

Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez are the songwriters responsible for the soundtracks of both “Frozen” films along with “Agatha All Along” from the Disney+ series “WandaVision.” The duo is expected to continue their longstanding work with Disney on “Frozen 3,” though no more details have been revealed yet.

The World of Frozen

Interestingly, these photos also give us an updated look on the construction progress of World of Frozen in Paris. The World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris was first announced in August 2024, and the land is expected to be finished before the end of 2026.

The World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris is expected to be similar to the land of the same name located in Hong Kong Disneyland. Like the Hong Kong World of Frozen, Paris will be receiving an updated version of the Frozen Ever After attraction that originally debuted at EPCOT back in 2016. Construction of the newest World of Frozen reached a milestone in October of 2024 when the tallest mountain in the area received its final peak.

As the sun sets, casting a golden hue over Disneyland Paris, the vibrant scene unfolds with a majestic red crane and scaffolding framing the construction of a clock tower. The enchanting atmosphere feels like a setting straight from the imaginative minds of Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

The addition of World of Frozen is part of a multi-phase transformation of Disney Studios Park in Paris, which will soon be renamed Disney Adventure World. Disney Adventure World is also set to receive a new nighttime spectacular on the equally new Adventure Bay, as well as a land themed to “The Lion King.” The park’s Studio 1 entrance is also in the process of being transformed into a new World Premiere area with refreshed restaurants and theming.
