A new men’s collection of apparel inspired by Mickey Mouse golfing has arrived at Walt Disney World. We found all of the new items at Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs.
Golf Baseball Cap – $29.99
The first new item is this forest green baseball cap. The fabric of the cap is green with a dark green and white plaid pattern. Blue, yellow, and red stripes cross in right angles across the plaid. An image of Mickey is sewn directly in the middle. Mickey is wearing a golfing outfit with a floppy cap and brown pants while swinging a metal golf club high into the air.
The cap has a black adjustment strap on the back and is sold as one size fits all. A few of the blue stripes in the plaid pattern also have small Mickey icons worked into the design.
Mickey Golf Cap – $29.99
There is also a flat-bill golf hat available. The white hat has a black bill and green logo in the center. The logo features two crossing golf clubs and an “M” for Mickey. Above the M is a golf ball with Mickey ears. Below, ’28 is embroidered to represent Mickey’s year of debut.
The cap also has a black adjustment strap on the back and is sold as one size fits all.
Golf Long Sleeve Shirt – $59.99
This grey, long-sleeved shirt is made of thicker material. The shirt has a large central image of Mickey golfing beside Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. Mickey bends down, eyeing the lay of his golf ball, while his friends watch in excitement. The image is surrounded with a pattern of golf balls, two crossed clubs, and text saying “Mickey Golf.”
Both long sleeves have an icon near the elbow. The icon is a circular image of Mickey surrounded by more golf balls. Like the image on the baseball cap, Mickey is in his golf outfit and swinging a metal club. The color of his shirt, hat, and pants are different than the baseball cap, though the pose is the same.
Golf Polo Shirt – $59.99
This polo-style collared shirt is an off-white cream color. The shirt is covered front in back in a repeating pattern of Mickey and his friends all taking part in golf activities. Some of the images show Mickey lining up his putt, Goofy taking a large swing, and Donald snapping his club in half. “Mickey Golf” and a green “M” crest are also repeated in the design.
Donald Duck Golf Shirt – $64.99
There is also a collared Donald Duck golf shirt. The shirt is cream colored with black buttons. The breast features a frustrated Donald holding a golf club.
Donald’s typical blue shirt is tinted green to match the aesthetic of the collection. He is also wearing a green golf cap. On the back of the shirt is a large image of Donald breaking his golf club as he appears to trip up on some golf balls. His classic “Aw Phooey,” catchphrase is written next to him, as well.
Golf Plaid Shorts – $44.99
These stretchy shorts are made of a breathable sports material with small holes throughout the fabric. The pattern of the shorts is reminiscent of the plaid on the baseball cap, but the squares run straight vertically instead of in a diamond pattern.
The bottom hem of the shorts has a thick band of white and black stripes. An “M” crest like the one on the polo shirt is printed on the right thigh. The “M” is in the center of a forest green shield shape in front of two crossed golf clubs and a ball with Mickey ears.
Plaid Golf Wind Breaker Jacket – $69.99
Matching the shorts above, is a plaid windbreaker jacket. The bottom of the jacket and the sleeve bands are black elastic. The jacket also has a black collar. and zipper.
The windbreaker features Mickey perfecting a shot with Pluto looking on. The same crest from the polo shirt and shorts is embroidered on the right elbow.
Golf T-Shirt – $34.99
This green shirt is made of classic cotton material and is much thinner than the polo shirt. Most of the shirt is plain green, apart from images of Mickey and Pluto stitched near the chest pocket. Mickey is on the front of the pocket, once again leaning down to eye his ball near the hole. Pluto is sewn so he appears to pop out from inside the pocket. Pluto holds a red golfing hole flag in his mouth.
Golf Vest – $44.99
Finally, this knit vest is an argyle pattern with diamonds in forest green, navy blue, and white. The vest has stripes of all three colors sewn on the edge of the arms, the bottom hem, and the V-neck. An image of Mickey Mouse in his same golfing pose as the baseball cap is sewn on the right chest, though the colors of his clothes are muted to match the vest.
Mickey Golf Pants – $49.99
A pair of athletic pants are also featured in the collection. These are black with green striping and tie-strings to secure the elastic waist.
Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto are enjoying their time on the golf course in the embroidered patch located on the left hip of the pants which have pockets.
The 90s are calling and want their pants back! These golf pants feature buttoned bottoms. Each leg has three buttons along the green stripe.
