New Star Wars Darth Vader Apparel Arrives at Disneyland Resort

Gretchen McDermid

Several new “Star Wars” apparel items featuring Darth Vader have arrived at Disneyland Resort. We found all the new items at World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District.

Darth Vader Shirt – $34.99

Red T-shirt with black Star Wars graphics, featuring Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire symbol, perfect for a day at Disneyland Resort. Nearby, black and white caps with similar designs are displayed on shelves.

This new shirt is easy to spot thanks to its bright red color. Black images on the front depict Darth Vader’s helmet, the Death Star, and a Galactic Empire logo. The back of the shirt is plain.

Star Wars Hooded Sweatshirt – $59.99

Gray Star Wars hoodie featuring sketches of iconic characters like Darth Vader. Bold red "STAR WARS" text adorns the front. Displayed alongside other themed merchandise at Disneyland Resort, it's a perfect find for any fan visiting the park.

This sweatshirt is a one-piece pullover with a hood and front hand pocket. “Star Wars” is written across the chest in bold red. The entire sweatshirt is covered in black-and-white images of Star Wars moments featuring Darth Vader and Dark Side icons. His iconic helmet is repeated multiple times in the pattern.

Gray and white hoodie with Star Wars-themed graphics featuring Darth Vader, displayed on a rack.

The back of the sweatshirt carries more of the same pattern as the front. In addition to Darth Vader himself, we could also spot the Death Star, Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter, and Darth Vader in a lightsaber duel.

Dark Side Baseball Cap – $29.99

A hand holds a black cap featuring a Darth Vader design from the Star Wars collection. The flat brim showcases black and white illustrations. A red and black backdrop reminiscent of Disneyland Resort is partially visible.

The baseball cap is mostly black with a white brim. A side profile of Darth Vader’s helmet is stitched in the center of the hat. The white brim has the same sketchbook-style pattern of Darth Vader as the sweatshirt.

A hand holds a cap showing the underside of the brim, where a complex black-and-white geometric and abstract pattern echoes the iconic aesthetic of Darth Vader's helmet from Star Wars.

Like the sweatshirt, the white pattern continues on the underside of the brim.

The right side of the cap has a red Galactic Empire logo, and the plastic adjustment strap on the back is also red.

Darth Vader Loungefly Mini Backpack – $90

A small backpack featuring a stylized Darth Vader holding a red lightsaber, perfect for Star Wars fans heading to Disneyland Resort.

The last new item is a Loungefly Mini Backpack shaped like Darth Vader wielding his lightsaber. The backpack is mostly black and grey. A cutout of his helmet sits on the top half, and his red lightsaber crosses the lower area with the small zipper pouch. Lights actually run through the red section of the lightsaber, and batteries can be inserted to make it light up.

The sides of the mini backpack both have the usual Loungefly slip pockets on either side. The pockets are stitched with vertical stripes resembling his armor.

A red Galactic Empire symbol is printed on the bottom of the bag’s back. The straps and carry handle are both black. Inside, the black battery pack for the lightsaber is attached directly to the pleather material in the central compartment, not the smaller one on the front. The battery pack takes up a bit of storage space.
