Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- Magic Kingdom was full of khaki and tropical patterns with Adventureland Day, on March 2nd, 2025, a fun fan-operated dress-up event that takes place in the park each year. The outing proved to be an absolute triumph, drawing an unprecedented crowd of nearly 300 adventurers!
EPCOT
- Construction continues on the facade of the Mexico pavilion in EPCOT, with scaffolding around part of the pyramid.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Walt Disney World guests will be able to build lightsabers with the limited-time “Reclaimed and Reforged” theme beginning on May 4, 2025.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- The Maharajah Jungle Trek bat exhibit in Disney’s Animal Kingdom has reopened after a short refurbishment.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Facade work has begun at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort as construction continues on Stormalong Bay Pool.
New Merchandise
- A new Wilderness Explorer-themed MagicBand+ is now available at Walt Disney World.
- A plethora of new Stitch merchandise crashed into Walt Disney World over the past few weeks. We found most of a new Stitch galaxy collection, as well as standard Stitch merch.

- Walt Disney World and runDisney have shared a first look at merchandise that will be available for the upcoming 2025 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend.
Disneyland Resort
- Crews have moved the construction walls at the Disneyland Park entrance to the next set of gates for the installation of new “tapstiles.”
- The iconic tower of Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure is completely surrounded by scrim and scaffolding after refurbishment work began on the facade last month.
- During the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, young guests can decorate cupcakes at an experience inspired by Disney Jr.’s “SuperKitties.”
- The old gate leading between Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney California Adventure has been demolished.
- From deep in the jungles of Adventureland, the guttural cry of “Kungaloosh” echoed forth, scattering birds and scaring away the hippo hordes. This is the call of the “Adventurelanders,” a ragtag band of fun-loving and creative Disneyland guests who bring a jungle flair to dressing up for a day at the park. Adventureland Day took place March 2nd, 2025 on both coasts.
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Tokyo Disney Resort revealed their 42nd anniversary merchandise collection inspired by Mickey’s PhilharMagic. The collection will be released on April 15, 2025 — exactly 42 years after Tokyo Disneyland opened.
- For the 20th anniversary of Duffy, Tokyo Disney Resort will re-release three previous plush badges of the bear — one from Duffy’s debut year and two based on fan votes.
- Tokyo Disney Resort released the full list of special food, beverage, and souvenir items coming to the Duffy & Friends 20th: Colorful Happiness celebration in April.
- Tokyo Disney Resort released the full list of new Duffy & Friends 20th: Colorful Happiness merchandise honoring 20 years of the Disney Bear.
Entertainment and Media
- According to Deadline sources, “Stranger Things” star Sadie Sink has been cast in the next “Spider-Man” film.
Universal Studios
Universal Orlando Resort
- Universal Orlando Resort has released single-day tickets for guests to visit Epic Universe, which opens to the public this May.
- Universal Orlando Resort has a new “Wicked” Coca-Cola Freestyle souvenir cup available at Emerald City Eats.
Universal Studios Japan
- Multiple new dinosaur encounters have arrived in Jurassic Park at Universal Studios Japan, including greetings with baby dinosaurs.
- To celebrate the Japanese release of “Wicked,” guests at Universal Studios Japan can enjoy a variety of offerings, including a new meet and greet with Elphaba and Glinda.
- Universal Studios Japan has multiple Donkey Kong-themed food and beverage items that can be purchased in Donkey Kong Country within Super Nintendo World — including a unique sundae served in a barrel mug.
- Spring celebrations at Universal Studios Japan include characters marching through the streets in “Go! Go! Easter March.”
- “Kuromi Live: Kuromify the World Tour ‘Crystal Clear’” at Universal Studios Japan is a one-of-a-kind rock show. Kuromi, My Melody, and other vocalists join together to perform for guests in the streets of the park.
- New food and beverage items and a themed popcorn bucket have arrived at Jurassic Park in Universal Studios Japan as part of Jurassic World Journey, which runs from March 14 through August 31, 2025.
- With the 2025 Easter Celebration underway at Universal Studios Japan, guests can meet many characters dressed for spring including Minions, Snoopy, and more.
