Over the next few weeks, Disney will shift the time of “Happily Ever After” at Magic Kingdom later in the evening.
Happily Ever After Showtime Changing
The nighttime spectacular is currently performed at 8 p.m. When daylight savings time begins this Sunday, March 9, the show will start performances at 8:30 p.m. As the daylight disappears, it will shift to 9 p.m. performances starting on Sunday, March 30.
“Happily Ever After” debuted at Magic Kingdom on May 12, 2017, replacing “Wishes.” It incorporates pyrotechnics, lasers, spotlights, and projection mapping on Cinderella Castle. It closed on September 29, 2021, to be replaced by “Disney Enchantment” for the 100 Years of Wonder celebration. The latter show closed and “Happily Ever After” returned in 2023. Its spotlights were updated last year.
