Liberty Square Brickwork Refurbishment Continues Near Bridge in Magic Kingdom

More new bricks have been replaced at the main entrance of Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom.

A brick walkway lined with trees and buildings on a sunny day. People walk in the distance, and a sign hangs on the left.

When we last reported on brickwork by the Liberty Square bridge, there was a clear patch of new bricks cordoned off with ropes. That patch now has white mortar between those bricks, which are at the front of the entrance area.

Two stripes of new bricks run further down, towards the bridge. They’re also noticeable by the fresh white mortar between them, but the bricks at the front of the pathway are the newest.

On Tuesday morning, the pathway was not blocked off at all. The bricks are not only run down by frequent guest traffic but also parades and cavalcades, which cross over the bridge. Work is completed overnight so Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade can still run during the day.
