More Liberty Square Bricks Replaced at Magic Kingdom

Crews placed more new bricks at the Liberty Square entrance in Magic Kingdom.

On Wednesday morning, the freshly placed bricks were surrounded by stanchions to keep guests from walking on them. These came down later in the day so the park’s cavalcades and Festival of Fantasy Parade could pass over the bridge.

The brick replacement project began closer to the Cinderella Castle hub. Crews are replacing bricks in rows of about 10 bricks across. The newest bricks outside of the stanchions have fresh white mortar between them.

Crews are replacing the bricks in the center of the walkway first. These would be the most worn down from foot traffic and parade floats.
