Pictures of another guest incident at Walt Disney World have been posted on Facebook, sharing a story of a guest who stopped Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for 40 minutes because he refused to get back in the log.
Guest Incident on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
In an anonymous post to the Walt Disney World Tips and Tricks Public Facebook Group, a user shared a story and images of sitting on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure during another guest incident. The post has since been deleted from the Facebook Group.
According to the original post, the user was riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom when the attraction briefly paused. After roughly 10 minutes of sitting in place, a guest jumped out of the ride vehicle with his young child and began walking on the pathway to the right of the log. The post says it appeared the man was looking for an attraction exit, as he turned on his phone flashlight and began shining it in the faces of guests still seated.
Cast Members turned on the ride speaker and asked the guest to sit back in the log three separate times, but the man continued to ignore their requests. Eventually, the Cast Members told the man to stay where he was and someone would come to escort the guest and his child out shortly.
According to the poster, the entire incident took between 30 and 40 minutes. Since the ride could not move while a guest was wandering the attraction, all of the logs were frozen in place during the whole incident.
The post concludes with a plea for guests to follow the rules and stay inside their ride vehicles while at Walt Disney World (or any theme park).
There was absolutely no need for this to happen. This guy is teaching his son that the rules don’t matter and you can do whatever you want, even if it inconveniences everyone else.
This guest incident is part of an, unfortunately, growing number of guests who have refused to follow rules while on their vacation or gotten into altercations with Cast Members. Just since January of this year, we have reported stories of a guest stealing an Out of Order sign and displaying it on her scooter, a drunk woman getting tasered at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, and a woman trying to bring leftover cocaine into Magic Kingdom.
