A monorail glides above a fountain and flowerbed in a park, reminiscent of Disneyland's whimsy, with geometric buildings standing tall against the partly cloudy sky.

Walt Disney World Shares 4 Hour Monorail Ambience Video

In honor of National Monorail Day on March 6 (a holiday seemingly made up by Disney today), Disney Parks shared a 4-hour video of Monorail ambience.

4-Hour Monorail Ambience

The video is filmed from within a Walt Disney World Resort Mark VI Monorail. It spends four hours looping around EPCOT and the Transportation and Ticket Center. It only travels the EPCOT line, and doesn’t go to Magic Kingdom or resorts.

Sit back, relax, and ride the Monorail with the video below.

The Walt Disney World Monorail system opened with the resort in 1971. When EPCOT opened in 1982, it was expanded to visit the second park. It currently runs twelve Mark VI Monorails across three lines. It transports over 150,000 guests daily.
