Disney Cruise Line has shared a first look at various dining and beverage experiences aboard the Disney Destiny cruise ship, including the previously announced “Doctor Strange” lounge, The Sanctum.
The Sanctum
The Sanctum will take inspiration from Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum, and feature mystical items designed to aid sorcerers in protecting our world. Unique design details will feature shapes and spirals of the sorcerers’ Rune Shields, as well as familiar items like the Cloak of Levitation and spell books from Kamar-Taj.
The entertainment parlor will be centrally located, and will host a variety of activities during sailings, all while offering guests mocktails, cocktails, spirits, and coffees. Tableside beverage experiences and exclusive menu items that “seemingly materialize from across the multiverse” will also be available.
These items will include:
- Circle of the Cosmos – Brunswick Aces Diamonds Gin, verjus blanc, and fresh lemon juice garnished with a lemon peel spiral
- Vapors of Valtorr – Grey Goose Altius Vodka, ginger beer, fresh lime juice, and butterfly pea flower syrup topped with berry-flavored bubbles
- Stuffed waffles with custard cream filling
- Stuffed waffles with mixed berry compote filling
Edna Á La Mode Sweets
Aboard the Disney Destiny, Edna Mode’s lab, where the famed fashion designer from “The Incredibles” whips up outfits for Supers, will be transformed into a confectionery dubbed Edna Á La Mode Sweets. Inspired by the “Auntie Edna” short film, the lab’s modern sewing equipment will be repurposed into machines that make sweets, all to entertain Jack-Jack.
The futuristic design of the space will see “techy features” combined with “sweet surprises.” Edna’s sketches and high-fashion artwork will line the walls, with the front window to the space featuring the latest suits for Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl.
In the center of the space will be a sculpture of Jack-Jack and Edna working on her cookie recipe. Rocky the raccoon will also be seen popping out of a garbage can nearby, trying to get his paws on said cookies.
The menu will include handmade gelato, ice cream, candy, and specialty treats — including cupcakes inspired by each member of the Parr family, gourmet popsicles, homemade chocolate bark, and Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums.
- Violet’s Cupcake – Purple Velvet Sponge Cake with white chocolate mousse, purple mirror glaze, sprinkles, and chocolate décor
- Mr. Incredible’s Cupcake – Double Chocolate Fudge Cake with chocolate truffle mousse, dark chocolate velvet finish, gold confetti, and chocolate décor
- Edna À La Mode Cupcake – Vanilla Marble Sponge Cake with white chocolate mousse, red mirror glaze, sprinkles, and chocolate décor
- Elastigirl’s Cupcake – Orange-Almond Cake with raspberry mousse, orange chocolate velvet finish, sprinkles, and chocolate décor
- Edna À La Mode Shortbread Cookie – Shortbread cookie with vanilla frosting, dulce de leche filling, and chocolate décor
- Edna À La Mode Chocolate Bark Postcard (white chocolate, dark chocolate, and chopped cookies ‘n cream cookies) and Jack-Jack Chocolate Bark Postcard (dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and mini chocolate chip cookies)
- Edna À La Mode Cookies & Cream Cookie – Three-Layer Cookies ‘n Cream Cookie with dulce de leche
Disney Cruise Line also shared a look at the Disney Destiny limited edition beer mug. This mug will be available at all bar locations aboard the ship during its inaugural season, while supplies last.
The Disney Destiny will sail out on its maiden voyage on November 20, 2025 from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Other new experiences coming to the ship will include a Broadway-style production of “Hercules,” encounters will villains and Super Minnie, and more.
