A hand holds a whimsical hyena-shaped container with exaggerated features and a lanyard, reminiscent of "The Lion King Dinner Show" on a Disney Destiny Cruise Ship.

At a preview for the Disney Destiny cruise ship, we got a first look at the Hyena Sipper that will be available for purchase at Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King.

Hyena Sipper

The hyena, who appears to be Ed, is doubled over with laughter. His tongue hangs from his mouth while his front paws are folded over his stomach.

The bulk of the hyena’s body is where the beverage is stored. It has a flat base for stability.

Against a dark background, a person holds a stylized shark figurine equipped with mounted guns, accompanied by a small orange figure resembling the Hyena Sipper from The Lion King Dinner Show.

When not in use, the straw folds down as part of his mane. It has a hard plastic spout in matching black.

A lanyard featuring Disney Cruise Line branding and character designs hangs against a brown curtain backdrop, reminiscent of the enchanting experiences aboard the Disney Destiny Cruise Ship.

A removable lanyard comes with the sipper. It has the Disney Cruise Line wordmark as well as designs evocative of the Elephant Graveyard and images of hyenas.

Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King will be a dinner show on board the Disney Destiny.

The restaurant is inspired by the African savanna, with animals and nature brought to life by special effects. At the center of the restaurant will be risers that mimic the look of African drums. Musicians and actors will present the iconic tale using authentic African instruments. Some of the songs featured include:

  • “Circle of Life”
  • “Hakuna Matata”
  • A mash-up of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Be Prepared”
  • An instrumental version of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”
  • A rendition of “He Lives in You” from the sequel film and Broadway show.

The Disney Destiny sets sail on November 20, 2025, from Port Everglades. It’s themed to Heroes & Villains, and will feature Marvel super heroes, pirates, the Incredibles, and more.
