Crowds of people stroll in front of a large castle, reminiscent of the Magic Kingdom, with multiple towers on the left and a huge tree with green leaves on the right, echoing the lush vibes of Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Howdy! Today was full of new merchandise, including new purses, new ornaments, and more. I started my day in Magic Kingdom, then hopped over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom before ending my day with a DOLE Whip at Disney’s Old Key West.

Monorail Monday

Sign for the Magic Kingdom Monorail, featuring a sleek monorail illustration, with an entrance below leading to the train platform—a perfect gateway to your Disney adventure.

Like any efficient Magic Kingdom day, I started with the express monorail. The line was not bad at all. In fact, it was pleasant after all the Spring Break madness.

Good Morning from Magic Kingdom

A crowd of people walk toward a large castle at the Magic Kingdom, surrounded by buildings and flags under a clear blue sky.

Magic Kingdom was popping, but still, the crowds weren’t crazy. There was a ton of new merchandise throughout the park, even on Main Street U.S.A.

Steve Thompson Snow Globe Figure – $199.00

A whimsical collage of fairy tale characters adorns snow globes and figurines, showcasing wizards, princesses, and animals. This enchanting display feels like stepping into Disney's Magic Kingdom, all in a warmly lit room.

In Box Office Gifts, in Town Square Theater where you can meet Mickey Mouse, I found this incredible new piece by artist Steve Thompson. I was shocked by the random plethora of characters, but that’s what I loved the most. There was representation from the parks and movies old and new.

The piece lights up in different colors, plays the song “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes”, and blows pixie dust glitter around Mickey Mouse and Star from “Wish.” Let me know which character your favorite is from the piece in the comments below.

Confectionery – More Pixar Candy

A delightful collage features a confectionery store sign, a hand holding a bag of "Mixed Emotions" sour balls, and assorted candy bags on display, reminiscent of the whimsical treats you'd find at Magic Kingdom.

I love the smell of the Confectionery. I think all I smell is a mix of popcorn and sugar, but it’s yummy. There have been a few new Pixar-themed snacks, the newest additions are Paradise Falls Assorted Tropical Fruit Gummies from the movie “Up” and Mixed Emotions Assorted Sour Balls from the movie “Inside Out.”

I am still recovering from the emotional roller coaster of the Inside Out cotton candy flight last week, so I wasn’t brave enough to try either one today. I will need to try those sour balls at some point soon, though.

Uptown Jewelers

A display of Disney-themed merchandise at Uptown Jewelers, including a white backpack with mouse ears and a collection of handbags featuring Disney characters, brings the enchantment of Magic Kingdom into every piece.

Just down the street at Uptown Jewelers, there was an entirely new Dooney & Bourke collection and a new Loungefly Backpack in a woven baby pink color. For a closer look at the Dooney & Bourke collection, be sure to visit our website.

I can’t join the Loungefly fandom… It’s not big enough, and it can’t even hold a bottle of water. That’s just asking to be dehydrated in Orlando. The backpack is cute, though, and available for $80.

New Ornaments

Collage of a Christmas shop sign and three Disney-themed ornaments: a yellow Mickey-shaped ornament, a Tinker Bell figure on a wreath, and Sorcerer Mickey on a blue base surrounded by the magic reminiscent of Disney's Animal Kingdom.

In the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, there were three new ornaments. The yellow Mickey Mouse popcorn bucket ornament is available for $29.99, and the popcorn pops out of the back and lights up.

There were also Tinker Bell and Sorcerer Mickey ornaments. They are available for $26.99. I wonder if the price difference of $3 is really worth the battery to make them light up, but I definitely think both could use a little light. Sound off your thoughts in the comments below.

Triton Update

A wooden statue of a seated figure clutching a trident draws attention with its detailed carvings, like delicate fingernails and natural wood flaws. Reminiscent of the enchanting artifacts at Disney's Animal Kingdom, a family poses nearby to provide a sense of scale.

King Triton still looks good, barring his chipped finger and empty navel. See what I did there? Navel, Naval, Navy… water? Anyway, the update remains unexciting for now, but rest assured, I’m on the lookout. In the meantime, if for whatever reason you see the culprit digging in Triton’s belly button, LET ME KNOW.

Coin Purse Key Chain – $14.99 each

Six circular coin purses featuring vibrant designs, including icons and whimsical text like "you had me at" and "10/10 would recommend," alongside imagery such as a castle reminiscent of the Magic Kingdom and a peace sign hand gesture.

In Star Traders in Tomorrowland, there were a ton of new coin purses available. I feel like there is a design for each fan available in the six coin purses above. They were fairly thick, too, so there should be plenty of room for a fuel rod and some chapstick.

My favorite was the classic Disney World D. Let me know your favorite in the comments below.

Pluto and Goofy Totes – $44.99 each

Two cartoon-themed duffel bags sit on a store shelf: one yellow with a dog's face and one black showcasing another playful pup. Perfect for your next trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom, these bags bring charm and whimsy wherever you go.

Pluto and Goofy totes have finally arrived at Walt Disney World. I had been ever so patiently waiting for the boys to arrive, and I was absurdly excited when I saw Pluto and Goofy. If you want to get them embroidered, you can in the parks, but a heads up since it’s a character’s face, they can only embroider on the straps and the back of the bag.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad More Track

Scaffolding and cranes surround a rocky, mountainous structure under construction at Disney's Animal Kingdom, all framed by the clear blue skies.

I will never get over watching the crews at Big Thunder Mountain installing large rows of tracks from the crane overhead. Today, the crew installed this new section of track. Be sure to stay up to date on construction progress at our website. It’s been really interesting watching how the track was removed and now the work going into putting it together again but better.

Good Gloomy Afternoon from Disney’s Animal Kingdom

A crowd of people strolls toward a large, artificial tree with vibrant green leaves in Disney's Animal Kingdom. The cloudy sky and lush greenery provide a picturesque backdrop, adding to the park's enchanting atmosphere.

I feel like any time I arrive at Animal Kingdom, and it’s not the first thing in the morning, more people are leaving than coming. Today was no different, especially with a small rainstorm rolling in. It’s that time of year when we have an afternoon shower that steams everything up and then leaves. Weird stuff if you aren’t used to it.

Dinoland Destruction Continues

People walk near a construction site at Disney's Animal Kingdom, with the Dinoland U.S.A. entrance visible and various construction equipment and barriers in the background.

In Dinoland U.S.A., the iconic Dino Institute billboard in the back has finally bitten the dust. You can see the crinkled remains among the debris behind the construction walls. What an absolute mess the crew currently has. Crazy to think it will be a Tropical Americas oasis one day.

Riverside Depot

In Riverside Depot, there were a few new items, including a Powerline Max plush available for $29.99. “The Goofy Movie” is celebrating its 30th Anniversary and this plush is just an addition to the other celebratory pieces released.

There were also some interesting new tank tops and shirts featuring the iconic Minnie Mouse ear headbands. I’m not a fan, personally. The tank tops are available for $34.99 and the shirts for $44.99.

Packable Tote – $16.99

Collage of three images showcasing a packable tote bag adorned with Mickey Mouse's face, including its packaging. Perfect for fans of Disney Purses or as a stylish accessory during your adventures at Magic Kingdom.

Disney has released a few new packable totes, including this one featuring Mickey Mouse. This is a sturdy setup for sure. I prefer my reusable bags to be totally crushable, so this is definitely intended for someone a little more trendy and graceful. Nana was able to find Winnie the Pooh and Disney Eats-themed totes like this one in World of Disney in Disney Springs.

Island Mercantile

Discover Lion King-themed merchandise at Island Mercantile, located in Disney's Animal Kingdom. Featuring a backpack, sweatshirt, hat, and mane headband with "Hakuna Matata" and beloved characters Timon, Pumbaa, and Simba.

In Island Mercantile, there was merchandise celebrating ‘The Lion King’. There was a backpack available for $29.99, a Scar ear headband for $34.99, and a hat for $24.99. There is also an adult Spirit Jersey for $79.99. I think the Scar headband is really cool because under all that black fur is a scar stitched just below the ear.

Old Key West Adventure

Sign with a chef holding a dish, next to a hand holding a cup of green soft serve ice cream, with a waterfront view reminiscent of the enchantment found at Magic Kingdom.

This is one of those adventures in reporting that I look forward to the most. All we needed from Old Key West today was to check on the DOLE Whip and the dock, well mostly the dock. I finally got an excuse to try the Key Lime Swirl, which is delicious. Be sure to visit our website for the best DOLE Whip breakdown for Walt Disney World.

Good Bye For Now

Collage: A Disney bus parked by a walkway near Magic Kingdom, a monorail station sign, and a person holding a circular Stitch sticker.

I took the bus to EPCOT, where I caught the monorail back to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). Along the way, I was gifted this cute Stitch sticker from an enthusiastic Cast Member.

I hope you enjoyed our day shopping around Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. My favorite part was the Key Lime Swirl treat at the end of the day, but my favorite find was the Scar ear headband. How wildly random but cool. Let me know your favorite merchandise in the comments below.
