Disney Parks has shared a behind-the-scenes video of the upcoming show, “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After,” which includes a sneak peek at a new original song for the show.
First Listen of ‘Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After

Shared on the Disney Parks official YouTube channel, the video includes footage of orchestral recordings for the show, as well as footage of the villains emerging from a color-coordinated cloud of fog.
During the video, Tom Vazzana, Executive Creative Director for Disney Live Entertainment, appears to speak about the show and the music being created for it. Tim Heintz, music arranger; Mark Renfrow, show director; Doug Morris, music producer; and Roger Butterley, conductor, also appear to share a little more about the premise for the show.
In “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After,” guests will encounter Captain Hook, Cruella De Vil, and Maleficent, along with the Magic Mirror, as they attempt to determine who has been treated “the most unfairly ever after.”
In the new show, the Magic Mirror will do more than speak, but will have an actual song of its own — described as “a little bit rock and roll, a little bit of orchestra, and classic Gothic score.”
The lyrics previewed in the video are:
Magic Mirror on the wall, who’s most misunderstood of all? But I can’t judge, I just reflect. So what you see is what you get.

“Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” replaces Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which was performed inside the Sunset Showcase Theater on Sunset Boulevard.
In January, Disney shared a close-up look at illustrators working on art of Hades and Cruella De Vil for the show. Just last month, Disney shared a new inside look at construction progress on the theater. Earlier this month, Walt Disney World released the official show poster.
The show has an approximate runtime of 40 minutes. It will debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 27.
