The new Magic Kingdom nighttime parade, “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away,” won’t perform on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates.
Will Disney Starlight Perform During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?
Disney announced on Friday that the parade will perform at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. most evenings. They added, though, that “Disney Starlight will not be available on evenings Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.”
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins at 7 p.m. on select dates this fall and has its own parade, Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade.
“Disney Starlight” likely won’t perform on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates, either, but details of the holiday parties will be released later.
With the exception of limited-time holiday parades like Boo-To-You, “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” will be the first nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom since Main Street Electrical Parade ended in 2016. The parade’s lead float features the Blue Fairy, Peter Pan, Wendy, and Elsa. It also has floats inspired by “Moana,” “Encanto,” Disney Princesses, “Coco,” and “Wish.” Mickey & Friends are on the finale float with more princesses and princes. The parade will follow the Magic Kingdom parade route backwards.
