Work continues at a steady pace on the Disney Lakeshore Lodge, with the walls getting more sheathing and the roof continuing to rise higher.

Disney Lakeshore Lodge Construction Update

Disney Lakeshore Lodge is continuing to take shape, although the completed DVC resort is not expected to open until 2027. The project was originally named Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge, and so far, the building structure and nearby A-frame cabins are strikingly similar to the previous concept art.

Since our last update, more exterior sheathing has been added to the tallest building section in the middle. Apart from the first floor, which is taller and does not appear to include guest rooms, levels 2 through 6 now have white sheathing. Some of it is covered in the yellow air and water barrier.

Some sheathing has also been covered by black paneling. This is not the final exterior paneling of the resort yet.

At its tallest points, the resort is eight full stories with a ninth under construction. According to construction permits, the building will be 10 stories tall.

Near the edge of the lake where Floatmaster barges are holding a crane, several tall columns have been installed. Partially hidden by trees is a steel frame structure.

There are now three A-frame cabin structures on the beach next to Disney Lakeshore Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. We don’t know how many cabins in total will be installed.

Additional steel elements have been added to the newest cabin framework.

On the other side of the resort, visible near Daniel Boone’s Wilderness Arcade, more steel frames have been added to the top floor, outlining future windows or sliding glass doors.

Glass has been installed in the windows or sliding doors of the second and third floors. There were only windows on the second floor in our last update.
