Disney Starlight Parade Will Continue Twice-Nightly Performances at Magic Kingdom

In a recently-added schedule update, Disney has confirmed that the newest nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom, Disney Starlight, will continue to perform twice nightly.

Earlier this morning, July 28, Disney adjusted the rules for Annual Passholders visiting Magic Kingdom. Starting with the Disney Starlight parade’s official debut on July 20, Annual Passholders were required to hold a theme park reservation to visit Magic Kingdom at any time of the day, on both weekdays and weekends. While park hopping was still allowed, this was a much stricter policy compared to the previous rules. Disney announced this morning that passholders can once again visit Magic Kingdom without a reservation on a good-to-go day or after 2 p.m. (with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays). The stricter policies barely lasted for one week.

Looking ahead at some of the upcoming dates, the Magic Kingdom digital entertainment calendar for the Disney Starlight parade only included information up to August 2. In a recent update, the calendar for the parade now has performance times listed through August 30, 2025. According to these new dates, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will continue to perform twice nightly at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. through the end of August.

It is important to note, however, that select dates throughout August are listed with no performance times. These are largely due to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party taking place on select nights starting on August 15. The full list of party dates in August includes August 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, and 29. As a result, the Disney Starlight parade will not be running on any of those days.

The parade calendar is still left blank for September, so we will have to see if the twice-nightly performance times continue through the following months. Additional dates will continue to be blocked for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party through October 31. We have a complete list of all the Halloween party dates, which is regularly updated to include which dates have already sold out. It is also expected that the parade will skip nights with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
