The Universal Orlando Resort app now shows photos of the test seats for roller coasters and other thrill rides at all three theme parks.

The photos are visible if you swipe right on the attraction’s header image. At Universal Studios Florida, there are test seats for Revenge of the Mummy, Harry Potter and the Escape From Gringotts, and Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon. The latter test seat moved indoors relatively recently, but most are located outside, near the attraction’s entrance.
There’s also a test seat pictured for Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, which will close permanently next month, and there are already construction walls up.
At Universal Islands of Adventure, there are test seats for Doctor Doom’s Fearfall, The Incredible Hulk coaster, Jurassic World VelociCoaster, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, and Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls.
Some attractions only have one test seat available. Hagrid’s has two seats, but they are different — one being the motorbike and one being the sidecar. Doctor Doom’s Fearfall has a whole row of four test seats, while Dudley Do-Right’s has an entire attraction vehicle.
There are also test seats at Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, Mine-Cart Madness, Yoshi’s Adventure, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, Curse of the Werewolf, Dragon Racer’s Rally, Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, and Stardust Racers in Epic Universe.
Stardust Racers will soon introduce modified seats to accommodate larger guests.
