At Disneyland Park, the Tarzan jack-o’-lantern representing Adventureland has been replaced by a jack-o’-lantern featuring José from Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.
José Jack-o’-Lantern
There are seven jack-o’-lanterns surrounding the Partners statue in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park, each representing a different land. Though the Tarzan jack-o’-lantern was installed with the others in August, it has since been replaced with this new José pumpkin. The pedestal also has a new plaque reading “José – Adventureland.”

José is one of the emcee birds of Enchanted Tiki Room, a classic Disney attraction. The new image has him sitting on his usual perch inside an oval frame.
Tarzan has represented Adventureland on the jack-o’-lanterns for the past several years, and we don’t know why the decoration was changed halfway through the season. The original Tarzan jack-o’-lantern is pictured below.

Another new jack-o’-lantern debuted this year featuring Tiana. She replaced Winnie the Pooh in honor of her new ride, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The other featured characters are Jack Skellington for New Orleans Square, Woody for Frontierland, Tinker Bell for Fantasyland, Roger Rabbit for Mickey’s Toontown, and Buzz Lightyear for Tomorrowland.
Enchanted Tiki Room was closed for a brief refurbishment earlier this month after a more intensive refurbishment earlier this year.
