Disney’s Blizzard Beach Closed for Two Days Next Week Due to Cold Weather

Disney’s Blizzard Beach will be closed early next week as a cold front moves into Orlando. Water parks frequently close during the winter when the temperatures get colder.

It was announced today that Blizzard Beach will be closed on Monday, February 23, and Tuesday, February 24, 2026, as a cold front moves into the Orlando area. The weather forecast for Orlando during those two days has high temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s °F, while the lows will be in the mid 30s °F. The rest of the week will be warmer.

Typhoon Lagoon recently closed for its seasonal refurbishment, so neither of the Disney water parks will be open for guests during those two days. Later in the year, both parks will operate simultaneously from May 26 through September 8, 2026, for Cool Kids’ Summer offerings.
