A new chicken strip variation is now available at Columbia Harbor House at Magic Kingdom, and it is perfection.

The Maple Mustard Chicken Strips are Disney’s regular, delicious chicken strips, topped with maple mustard, crispy garlic, and green onions.

You can never really truly hate the chicken strips in this park. They always have the perfect crunch, and the chicken is always good. This new rendition of an old favorite is awesome.

With maple in the name, we expected it to be sweeter, but it wasn’t. It was more like a spicy Dijon mustard than sweet. The garlic bits are super subtle unless you pick them out and eat them alone. Otherwise, the mustard hides the garlic flavor as well as the flavor of the green onions.

There are a few options for sides, so you don’t have to get the French fries. You could opt for rice or green beans, or for an upcharge, garlic Parmesan truffle fries. They didn’t overdo it on the sauce, which I appreciated as well.

We absolutely loved this dish. It’s fun but not too out there, so many folks will enjoy. We don’t know anyone other than our vegetarian friends who don’t like the Disney chicken strips. If you like Dijon mustard, you’ll likely love this.
