This Food Studio features “decorative dishes inspired by the fine art of French cooking.” This year, the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts runs from January 8 – February 22, 2021.

Crème de Brie en Petit Pain: Warm Creamy Brie in a House-made Bread Bowl – $8.00

I usually don’t order Brie, but this was rather enjoyable. The cheese wasn’t too sharp or pungent, which makes it more acceptable. The bread was nice and soft, a perfect pairing for the creme. It also takes a cute picture thanks to the artwork on the bread and the napkin set up.
*NEW* Croissant à la Truffle Noir d’Hiver: Black Winter Truffle Croissant – $7.75

This was a rich, buttery, crunchy croissant filled with truffles. It was creamy and warm inside. It was fine but nothing exceptional.
*NEW* Moelleux à la Framboise et aux Chocolats Valrhona: Molten Chocolate and Raspberry Cake with Pure Origin Valrhona Chocolates – $7.75

Honey, I shrunk the chain restaurant dessert! This is your average chocolate lava cake. It won’t disappoint, but it’s nothing you can’t get anywhere else.
Trio de Macarons: Assortment of Three House-made Macarons in a Gift Box – $9.50

C’est tres magnifique! The brown macaron is chocolate, the pink with white dots is strawberry, and the yellow macaron is lemon. These have delectable, light, and almost moist shells with soft creme in the middle. They’re exactly what you would expect from authentic French pastries. (And if you’re feeling full from all this festival food, the gift box makes them easy to take home or to your hotel room. It’s a tasty souvenir.)
Frozen French Martini: Grey Goose Vodka ($27/bottle), Chambord Liqueur ($28/bottle), Pineapple, Orange and Grape Juice with Lemon-Lime Foam – $14.50

We expected this to be extremely sweet based on the description, however, this was a crowd pleaser. It’s well-balanced and sweet, but not too sweet where you lose the essence of this delicious cocktail. You can really taste the grape juice in this one. The lemon lime foam on top was somewhat flat, which was disappointing, but the Chambord is the highlight of the drink, pairing very well with the grape juice. This one gets a big thumbs up from us.
*NEW* Charles Lafitte, Brut Méthode Traditionnelle Champenoise, French Sparkling Wine ($16/bottle) – $8.00
Wine.com describes this Brut as having a “straw-yellow color, intense, bright and perfectly transparent, delicately tinted with a hint of bronze. Beautiful and nicely persistent bubbles. Fine, complex and delicate, the nose has generous aromas of fruits, especially the white peach, the quince and currants, also with a very fine nuance of white flowers. The start is full of delicacy and freshness with citrus fruits and pink grapefruit notes. The mouth has a delicious finale, long and peristent, with pastry aromas reminding of such specific taste as creme caramel.”
*NEW* Château La Gordonne, Vérité du Terroir, Côtes de Provence Rosé ($16/bottle) – $9.25
Château La Gordonne describes their wine: “The very ample nose expresses intense berry and pink grapefruit aromas. This refreshing promise is affirmed in the mouth by dominant notes of raspberry and redcurrant underscored by the freshness of citrus. This rosé wine’s harmony and perfect balance prolongs the pleasure of tasting in a long, sweet finale.”
*NEW* Bordeaux Merlot and Cabernet Blend, Baron des Chartrons, 2015 ($18/bottle) – $8.75
Bronco Wine Company says this blend has a “nose of fresh red fruits,” and “great structure, soft tannins, and fresh finale of ripe cherry and blueberry. Elegant and very typical of the appellation.”
