The menu clearly calls out ‘Potato Pancakes’ and ‘Potato Pancake’, whereas this should be multiple pancakes. We received a single one with more apple sauce than pancake. It’s forgettable.

I don’t even know the proper words to describe how unexpectedly amazing this dish was. The pretzel bread was filled with a gooey cheese and black forest ham that oozed out when we cut into it. All of the flavors mix wonderfully together making one of the best items we’ve ever had at Flower & Garden since they started Outdoor Kitchens a few years ago.

Warm Cheese Strudel with Mixed Berries (KA) – $4.25

The strudel was a perfect combination of fruit, cheese, and flaky crust. Everything came out warm, making for a very good dessert. Not as good as the buckle from The Berry Basket in years past, but still worth your time.

Hugo Cocktail with Sparkling Wine, Elderflower and Mint – $9.50

Take a close look at the picture and notice the stem of the glass and how there’s seemingly a line and separation of liquid. The camera doesn’t deceive the eye, that bottom portion is the elderflower and mint mixture. It’s much more dense than the Brut so it sinks to the bottom and waits for the opportune moment to strike. A very unpleasant ending to a relatively okay Brut.

Stiegl Brewery Radler Zitrone, Salzburg, Austria (2.0% ABV) – $4.50

Stiegl Brewery describes their beer as “Best Stiegl-Goldbräu blended with lemonade made with real lemon juice” with “a sparkling, invigorating taste” and “delicate hints of citrus and [a] fresh aroma.”

Paulaner Original Munich Lager, Munich, Germany (4.9% ABV) – $4.50

Paulaner describes their lager as having a “clear and bright gold sparkling hue, crowned by a pure white head,” with “mild, elegant malts, with a hint of sweetness and a soft hint of hops in the background.”

Köstritzer Schwarzbier Black Lager, Bad Köstritz, Germany (4.8% ABV) – $4.50

Köstritzer describes their beer as having “toasted bitter flavor with bittersweet herbs. A gentle tingle balances with an elegant and intensely aromatic freshness. Finishes with delicate bitter notes and a malty sweetness on the palate.”
