Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market debuted at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival in 2013, and returns for its eighth appearance in the festival. (The Outdoor Kitchen did not appear at the festival in 2014 or 2015.) “Venture to Germany for Bavarian bites sure to sate foodies of all ages—every dish is köstlich!”
This year’s 2022 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival takes place March 2 – July 4, 2022.

Potato Pancakes with House-made Apple Sauce – $4.75

Basically, it is what is it says it is. You can taste the onions, hash brown flavor of the potato, and applesauce. It’s a very simple dish, but delivers what it says. With so many other options, we’d probably recommend other dishes, like at the Mexico Pavilion. This one’s nothing terribly special.
Potato Pancake with Caramelized Ham, Onions and Herb Sour Cream – $5.00

The toppings here do little to elevate the dish. Pass.
Toasted Pretzel Bread topped with Black Forest Ham and Melted Gruyère Cheese – $5.75

I don’t even know the proper words to describe how unexpectedly amazing this dish was. The pretzel bread was filled with a gooey cheese and black forest ham that oozed out when we cut into it. All of the flavors mix wonderfully together making one of the best items we’ve ever had at Flower & Garden since they started Outdoor Kitchens a few years ago.
Warm Cheese Strudel with Mixed Berries – $4.75

The strudel was a perfect combination of fruit, cheese, and flaky crust. Everything came out warm, making for a very good dessert. Not as good as the buckle from The Berry Basket in years past, but still worth your time.
Beer Flight – $10.00

M.I.A. Brewing Hugo, Doral, FL (4.5% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz., $9.00 for 12 oz.
From correspondence with M.I.A. Beer Company’s Production Manager Rory Malloy: “Our Hugo beer is modeled after the Aperitif drink of the same name, [which is] normally [made of] prosecco, elderflower syrup, [a] sprig of mint and sometimes some lime. We took a base of American Light lager… [and] switched up the hops to give a slight lime tartness, then added elderflower and mint during its lagering stage. This is a very refreshing beer. [It] pours very clear with pillowy white head, [and] drinks very easy with a super clean finish. Moderate alcohol content and low IBU allow you to enjoy a few.”
Bitburger Premium Pils, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany (4.8% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz., $9.00 for 12 oz.
Bitburger describes their Premium Pils as “bright golden yellow in color, with a lasting white foam head with extra-fine bubbles,” with an aroma of “pure, delicate notes of honey, ripe cereal grains, white bread and aromatic mountain herbs,” and having a “delicate effervescence mixed with a crisp and fruity taste, a touch of malty sweetness, rounded off with a distinctive hoppiness that lingers harmoniously on the palate.”
*NEW* Stiegl Brewery Radler Raspberry, Salzburg, Austria (2.0% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz., $9.00 for 12 oz.
From Stiegl Brewery: “Stiegl-Goldbräu and sweet fruity raspberry soda join together to refresh with an enchantingly red, soft berrylike treat. The raspberry flavor gives the retro-Radler a rich scented bouquet of fully ripe berries. The fruity and juicy overall impression provides thirst-quenching refreshment.”
Apfelschaumwein: Sparkling Wine and Apple Liqueur – $10.00

This was similar to ice wine, but it would have been a bit better if it were colder. The fresh rosemary sprig gave it a nice flavor. It was very sweet. There was a bit of a spiced apple taste, but not cinnamon-y.
