Jardin de Fiestas premiered at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival in 2013, and returns for its ninth festival appearance. “Take a food-tastic tour of the Mexico Pavilion… these tantalizing tastes will add some spice to your day!” This year’s 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival takes place March 3 – July 5, 2021.

*NEW* Tostada de Cochinita: Braised Pork on a Crispy Corn Tortilla with Black Beans Topped with Pickled Onions, Mango-Habanero Relish and Oregano – $7.00

The pork is well-seasoned, with a spicy kick over a crispy tostada. It is small for the price, but the quality is good.
*NEW* Taco Vampiro: Braised Beef on a Corn Tortilla with Crispy Grilled Monterey Jack Cheese and Salsa Ranchera – $7.25

The braised beef is decent but needs salt or some kind of additional seasoning. The corn tortilla is great when it is crispy, but the beef makes the tortilla a bit soft. This takes away from the dish’s texture.
*NEW* Sope de Chorizo: Plant-Based Ground Chorizo on Fried Corn Dough with Black Beans and Avocado Mousse – $6.75

This is a vegan option that will appeal to non-vegans, too. The dish has the most flavor of any options at the booth. We find this to be a perfect little Mexican bite. This is a dish we will have again.
*NEW* Passion Fruit Margarita: Corazón de Agave Blanco Tequila ($27/bottle), Passion Fruit Purée, Lime Juice, Nixta Corn Liqueur ($36/bottle) and a Hint of Smoke with a Hibiscus Flower Salt Rim – $12.50

This is a well-made drink. We picked up most of the desired flavors: tequila, passion fruit, and lime. However, the corn liqueur taste is missing. The hibiscus flower salt rim is very smokey and almost presents a mezcal flavor, not tequila.
*NEW* The Garden Margarita: Ojo de Tigre Mezcal ($31/bottle), Lettuce Juice, Ancho Reyes Chile Verde Liqueur ($35/bottle), Lime Juice, Gracias a Dios Agave Gin ($50/bottle) and a Sprig of Thyme – $12.50

This is made with gin and mezcal, but the taste’s exactly like a garden. It is as if the juicer was able to add the alcohol in a way that no one would know. This is a salad lover’s dream, but not our cup of greens.
*NEW* Tulum Mexican Craft Beer with Floater: Artisanal Lager (4.0% ABV) with Citrus Notes Made with Caribbean Seawater and Served with an Elderflower Liqueur Floater – $6.50 for 6 o.z., $11.75 for 12 o.z.

If there was a cheap ripoff of Sol, which is a cheap ripoff of Corona, then this beer would be it.
