The following year, the Key Lime Tart showed up at Festival Favorites during the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The pork rinds previously appeared at The Swanky Saucy Swine in 2022. Finally, the Irish Milk Shake is a remnant of the Ireland Marketplace, which does not return in 2024.

Frankly, this is gross. They’re nothing more than overcooked Mrs. T’s Pierogies. There are only a few slices of kielbasa and they’re a cheap store brand you can barely taste. They were also overcooked and too tough. The caramelized onions were the only edible part of the dish.

BBQ Pork Rinds served with Pimento Cheese – $5.00

A white rectangular plate with three crispy chips on the left and a black bowl of creamy dip garnished with chives on the right, all part of Emile's Fromage Montage.

Some in our group like this, others think it’s terrible. A few of the pork rinds were a little over-fried and too hard to chew. The pimento was rich and cheesy with a very present peppery heat. However, there was also a sweetness that some of us thought ruined the dish. If you don’t mind the blending of sweet barbecue and savory pimento cheese, this might appeal to you.

*NEW* Goldschmidt ‘Katherine’ Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma, CA ($30/bottle) – $15.00

Goldschmidt Vineyards notes that this wine “shows… black fruits as its base. Black cherry, boysenberry and black fig aromas jump out of the glass. It is vibrant with nice perfume. The mouth is very smooth, rich silky tannins go on forever. Good tension in the mouth begs to have a second glass. The complexity is beyond its years… Dark fruit flavors and beautiful structure make it a lovely wine for food pairing. This wine’s elegance, acidity and spice notes complement grilled or roasted dishes, such as herb-crusted lamb, roasted duck or grilled pork loin. The wine’s earthiness even compliments vegetarian dishes, ratatouille or roasted root vegetables.”

Martin Ray Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast, CA ($20/bottle) – $7.00

Martin Ray Winery calls their wine “bright and viscous, with fresh Granny Smith apple, underripe pear, and tart lemon custard on the front. Citrus notes with grapefruit pith, golden kiwi, and subtle almond. Mouthwatering salinity interlaced with a hint of freesia, and bright acidity throughout.”

Bailey’s will run you about $18/bottle at your local liquor store, but good luck mixing a Guinness and Bailey’s shake like this at home. EPCOT provides a smooth, rich, and creamy shake that is simply to die for. There’s a hint of Bailey’s cream liquor and an underlying flavor of Guinness Stout. The chocolate flakes help bring this mixture together into one perfect drink. And you still get the souvenir Ireland plastic cup to take home!
