*NEW* Autumn Chili with Bison, Lamb and Pork Belly, Root Vegetables, Jalapeño Cornbread, Smoked Cheddar and Crème Fraîche – $7.75

The cornbread is sweet and spicy. The meat is cooked perfectly, spiced well, and served in a large portion. This is excellent. However, we don’t want to eat chili in August. We’ll come back later in the season to enjoy this again.

*NEW* Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli with Sage-Brown Butter, Pecorino Cheese and Hazelnut Praline – $5.25

It has a nice crunch with rich fall flavors enhanced by the cheese. The sage brown butter is a nice touch. We loved this.

*NEW* Burrata with Seasonal Fall Fruit, Spiced Pecans, Apple Purée and Fig Vinaigrette – $5.50

We were divided on this, but those who liked it loved it. It appeals to a different audience than the first two dishes here, and a fall burrata is strange, but it works well. Those of us who didn’t like it were put off by the texture and the cheese.

*NEW* Brewery Ommegang All Hallows Treat Chocolate Peanut Butter Imperial Stout, Cooperstown, NY (7.6% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.
From Brewery Ommegang: “Sweet and spooky like the perfect Halloween night, All Hallows Treat rekindles your favorite childhood holiday memories. Aromas and flavors of dark chocolate, creamy peanut butter, and a soft vanilla finish swirl with a smooth body and medium mouthfeel. It’s the perfect throwback that brings you to your first bite of a chocolate peanut butter cup.”
*NEW* Lievland Bushvine Pinotage, Paarl, South Africa ($16/bottle) – $6.50
From Vineyard Brands: “The Lievland Bushvine Pinotage is decidedly refined, with gentle handling in the cellar to extract a bright fruit profile. A touch of Grenache further uplifts the fruit. The color is ruby garnet with a hint of purple. With the aromas of cherry and raspberry, with a hint of vanilla and cedar. Red-berries, ripe plums, and savory notes.”
*NEW* Piper-Sonoma Brut, Sonoma County, CA ($20/bottle) – $7.00
From Piper-Sonoma: “Primarily composed of Chardonnay, with some Pinot Noir, our Brut is dry and fresh, with a long elegant finish, possessing crisp citrus flavors with hints of green apple, mandarin orange and brioche.”
