Apple Blossom Sky: Fanta® Apple, Ginger Beer, Floodwall Apple Brandy, Burton’s Maplewood Farm Applejack Brandy Barrel Aged Syrup and Mini Marshmallows – $11.00
The six beverages that are new to this Marketplace have all appeared in other EPCOT festivals. The Mule Beer appeared at Coastal Eats at the 2019 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, while the TropiCannon Citrus IPA was at The Citrus Blossom, the Ghost in the Machine Double IPA was at Magnolia Terrace, and all three ciders were at Refreshment Outpost for the 2020 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.

Charcuterie and Cheese Plate featuring Burton’s Maplewood Farm Applejack Brandy Barrel Aged Maple Syrup – $6.50
The water crackers are plain, but the real stand-outs here are the meats and cheeses. There was a good variety of meats as well as cheeses. While I’d consider some of the other charcuterie boards from the festival, this one is a good pairing with any of the wines from the booth.
Caramel-Apple Popcorn – $7.00
The Appleseed Orchard is offering apple-caramel popcorn in these cute plastic apple-shaped containers.
The popcorn itself was good, and for the money, you get a snack and a cute souvenir.
Frozen Apple Pie – $4.00
The Frozen Apple Pie comes to the Appleseed Orchard after being at Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar in 2018. This was one of our favorite non-alcoholic drinks of the day. There’s a great apple pie filling on top of the slush that’s quite tasty and refreshing. The only issue we had with this is that a straw wasn’t provided. Granted, Disney is trying to move away from single-use plastics, but the drink is already being served in one so what’s one straw going to hurt? We obtained spoons and were able to enjoy this offering properly, it’s utterly just too difficult to enjoy without a straw or spoon.
*NEW* Short’s Brewing Co. Mule Beer, Elk Rapids, MI (4.5% ABV) – $4.50 for 6 o.z., $8.50 for 12 o.z.
From Short’s Brewing Co.: “Mule Beer is an Ale brewed with lime and ginger. Hazy copper in color with an off-white head, Mule Beer pours with aromas of pungent ginger and tangy lime. Pronounced flavors of ginger and lime are accompanied by a biscuit like maltiness and a creamy body. This light-bodied, Moscow Mule inspired brew finishes with a spicy ginger kick.”
A Mule Beer is an Ale brewed with lime and ginger. I say that because they do not hide those flavors in this beer. It is a hazy burnt orange color giving it the impression it might be a heavy beer, but it is pretty light for a mule beer. Lastly, it finishes with a strong ginger taste resonating in your mouth.
*NEW* Heavy Seas Brewery TropiCannon Citrus IPA, Halethorpe, MD (7.3% ABV) – $4.50 for 6 o.z., $8.50 for 12 o.z.
Heavy Seas Brewery says their TropiCannon Citrus IPA “packs a full blast of blood orange, grapefruit, mango and lemon flavor.” The company also “introduced dried grapefruit, orange and lemon peel in the brewing process and added mango, blood orange and more grapefruit post-fermentation.”
From Parish Brewing Co.: “Welcome to the future. Our collective human consciousness, or Ghost in the Machine, has gained a tolerance for hops beyond what mankind has ever known before. This double India Pale Ale is the necessary outcome. Brewed with obscene quantities of hand-selected Citra hops from our favorite farm in Yakima Valley, WA. Expect pungent grapefruit aromas and flavors, tropical fruit, and less harsh bitterness than most IIPAs.”
From correspondence with 3 Daughters Brewing: “Fresh Florida Lemon juice and sweet raspberries are added to our dry hard apple cider for a crisp, refreshing treat for basking in the Florida sunshine.” It has a “light pink” color with an aroma of “raspberry, lemon and slight apple.” The taste features “lots of tart lemon, hints of raspberry and light notes of apple,” with a finish that’s “dry, with light body and high carbonation.”
*NEW* Short’s Brewing Company Starcut Ciders Mosa Hard Cider, Bellaire, MI (4.3% ABV) – $4.50 for 6 o.z., $8.50 for 12 o.z.
From Starcut Ciders: “Mosa is a crisp, refreshing blend of Hard Cider made from Michigan apples and sweet orange juice. This cider is slightly hazy and light orange in color, a true mimosa in cider form. Let the fruity harmony of citrus and bright apple flavors make your tastebuds do a happy dance.” They also list it as between a semi-sweet and sweet cider.
This cider is not too sweet but not too dry either. It’s very flavorful and enjoyable. This is definitely a solid offering.
From Ciderboys: “Sweet, ripe bananas, juicy strawberries and delicious crisp apples blend together for the perfect getaway.”
Ciderboys always does a fantastic job with their ciders, but this banana one is a standout. It has a perfect balance of banana flavor and is not overly sweet. Some banana-flavored drinks are overpowering or the flavoring is fake, but that’s not the case with this drink. Overall, this cider is fantastic.
Apple Blossom Sky: Fanta® Apple, Ginger Beer, Floodwall Apple Brandy ($35/bottle), Burton’s Maplewood Farm Applejack Brandy Barrel Aged Syrup and Mini Marshmallows – $11.00
It’s served in a plastic souvenir mule cup that you get to keep. There are a bunch of mini marshmallows on top. We couldn’t quite determine the taste at first. It’s sweet and fruity. We thought it was a little bit like rum, but it’s got a strong apple flavor. The marshmallows are a little strange, but they work, oddly enough. Apple Fanta, ginger beer, brandy barrel aged maple syrup. It’s sweet, like a green apple candy flavor, but not overly sweet. The brandy is very noticeable.
