Thailand is another of the new-for-2017 crop of booths that are returning for the 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, taking place August 30 – November 12, 2018. All of the food offerings at this booth are the same as last year.

Marinated Chicken with Peanut Sauce and Stir-fried Vegetables – $5.00
In 2017, this dish surprised on multiple fronts. The chicken sits between a mild peanut sauce on top and a nice portion of stir-fry vegetables below. While peanut sauce isn’t on everyone’s weekly diet, we recommend giving this dish a shot, because it’s not as foreign as you’d expect and it has a tasty flavor profile.
Seared Shrimp and Scallop Cake with Cold Noodle Salad – $5.25
The contrasting warm seafood cake with the cold noodle salad is a welcome addition to the festival. There’s shrimp and crab stuffed into the cake, making it a CrabCake+. Unfortunately, it fell flat for not having a good sauce on top to unify the dish. The noodles are good at least, but that’s not why you’re ordering this dish.
Red Hot Spicy Thai Curry Beef with Steamed Rice – $5.50
There’s more cauliflower than beef in this curry. The “red hot” also appears to in name only, because the actual spice content is noticeably lacking. We’ve had spicier things at other locations in the festival, so don’t let the name deter you if you don’t do spice. Let the lack of beef and overall average nature of the entire dish keep you away.
