Guests looking to enjoy Universal’s Volcano Bay on the last day of Thanksgiving weekend are out of luck. The water park will be closed Sunday, November 28 due to inclement weather. Volcano Bay previously closed due to bad weather November 20. Sunday’s weather forecast for Orlando shows temperatures not escaping the 60s.
Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando Resort is closing one hour early today due to inclement weather. Initially slated to be open until 5 p.m., the water park will now close at 4 p.m.
Volcano Bay — which did not open today due to inclement weather — will remain closed tomorrow, Saturday, November 6. Universal Orlando Resort shared the news on Twitter. The water park will likely reopen on Sunday, when the storm is expected to have mostly passed over Central Florida.
Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando Resort will be closed on Friday, November 5, due to inclement weather. Universal Orlando Resort tweeted the news this afternoon. They have not indicated if they expect the water park to reopen on Saturday, November 6. Volcano Bay closed early on October 28 for similar reasons.
Due to inclement weather, Universal’s Volcano Bay will be closing at 3:00 p.m. today, October 28, 2021, instead of 5:00 p.m. Universal Orlando Resort shared the news on Twitter this afternoon. The weather is expected to pass tonight and the park is still scheduled to open at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow.

After reopening just last week, Universal’s Volcano Bay is closed once again due to weather. From March 6th to March 7th, the water park will be temporarily closed due to inclement weather expected this weekend. For park updates, guests can call 407-817-8317. Universal’s Volcano Bay is expected to resume normal operations on Monday, March 8th.
