Rafiki and Timon are meeting guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for a limited time to celebrate 30 years of “The Lion King.”

Rafiki and Timon are appearing for individual meet and greets, rotating with each other. They’re outside Conservation Station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

The My Disney Experience app lists meet and greet times periodically from 9:40 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Search for Timon and Rafiki in the app to find their next appearance time during your visit.

Guests can also visit the Animation Experience at Rafiki’s Planet Watch to draw “The Lion King” characters.

Disney did not announce an end date for the Rafiki and Timon meet and greets, but the “Lion King” celebration runs through September 6, 2024. It also includes special menu items and merchandise.

“The Lion King” was released to El Capitan Theatre and Radio City Music Hall on June 15, 1994, before a wide theatrical release on June 24, 1994. It will return to theaters this July.
