When ApplePay rolls out at Walt Disney World on December 10th, guests will be able to use the service at Merchandise locations, guest relations, ticket sales, quick service dining locations, lounges and bars.
Table service restaurants and resort front desks will come on-board at a later date.
Operating participants (locations not operated by Disney) are not rolling out the service with Disney on the 10th.
That makes no sense. I thought they were pushing people to use magic bands to pay. That’s really weird.
MagicBands are accepted, ApplePay will simply be another accepted form of payment.
non-resort guests (day guests, locals, those staying off-property, etc) don’t have the option to pay with magicbands.
Anyone heard anything new on this one? It didn’t launch on the 10th and there hasn’t been any new word since then on when it might be coming.
Reportedly, it will launch this week (12/24).
