Walt Disney World To Begin Offering Refillable Popcorn Buckets

Well, I thought I would never see the day, but Walt Disney World is indeed introducing a refillable popcorn bucket offer…

As part of a limited time offering, guests at Walt Disney World’s theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs, and ESPN Wide World of Sports may purchase a refillable souvenir popcorn bucket for $10 and enjoy $1.50 refills for the remainder of the day. The offer is set to begin June 26th.

No other details are available at this time, but we will be sure to bring you more details on how this works once we know more.

  1. Who in the hell eats that much popcorn? Can’t imagine this matters to more than a dozen people.

  2. I got all happy then saw “…the rest of the DAY” Man, I thought it would be forever, or at least a year or something. Though to be honest, I still could do a lot of damage to popcorn carts in a day…

  3. Universal Studio has refillable buckets. It was great when we were there for spring break. They also have refillable drink cups which also super handy. I wish we could used the rapid refill mugs in the parks or the option to purchase one.

    • I remember the refillable drink mugs/glasses (I still have a few of them, in fact), but I don’t recall refillable popcorn. It wouldn’t surprise me though. It is a great idea!?
